Juniors naming

The juniors’ received their class name on Friday, September 24, 2010. In celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Kamehameha Schools, the quasquicentennial class of 2012 at the Hawaii Campus is now known as Kāhili Koaʻe.  A special ʻōlelo noʻeau was created for this class, “Welo haʻaheo me he kāhili koaʻe lā”, which means “Fly proud like a koaʻe feather standard”.  Traits of this class are noble and admired.

This year, our class naming committee will be giving each class their name by June 2011.  This not only identifies and unifies each class, but it is to encourage and guide the class to live up to their name and strive to be the best in all they do.
